In Poppy Playtime 5, exploration and puzzle-solving remain at the heart of the experience. The player ventures into a new section of the factory where strange inhabitants, environmental hazards, and hidden information create obstacles along the way. The chapter also introduces new GrabPack functions that are used to overcome puzzles and navigate dangerous areas.

Use Glowby to Discover Hidden Secrets

Early in the chapter, the player loses access to the GrabPack and gains a small companion called Glowby. This star-shaped tool can work as a flashlight and blacklight, revealing hidden UV messages and drawings. It can also play audio tapes and react to nearby threats or discoveries.
