Go to Home

The Man from the Window is a short indie horror game that turns a bedtime story into a tense survival puzzle. You play as Mama Rabbit, who returns home after work only to discover that the frightening creature from her son’s storybook may be real. With only five minutes before the intruder gets inside, every decision matters.
The story begins when Mama Rabbit comes home exhausted from her bakery shift. Her son Junior rushes to her in panic, claiming that the strange man from his storybook is outside the window. At first it sounds impossible, but after reading the book herself, she realizes the warning may be true.
The book describes a disturbing figure with no nose and an unnatural smile who wanders at night searching for “a new friend to take away". Moments later, knocking begins at the door. Your mission is to protect Junior and survive until the threat leaves.
Gameplay takes place inside a small apartment under a strict five-minute timer. Before the mysterious visitor enters, players have to quickly prepare the house and decide the safest strategy.
You can hide Junior, move furniture, lock doors, and use items to slow the intruder down. Once inside, The Man checks rooms one by one. If your plan is poor, someone may be taken away.
The game features several possible outcomes depending on your choices. You may:
Search patterns can also change between playthroughs, making each attempt feel different and encouraging experimentation.
