Behind its colorful cartoon style, Dandy's World hides a tense multiplayer survival experience filled with dangerous monsters, machine-repair objectives, and escalating difficulty. In the game, players control cartoon characters called Toons while trying to survive corrupted creatures known as Twisteds.
The main objective in Dandy's World is to complete machines and safely reach the elevator before the Twisteds catch you.

To progress, players must extract machines by completing quick-time skill checks. Failing these skill checks alerts nearby Twisteds and can quickly turn a safe situation into a deadly chase. As players descend further, the number of machines and enemies increases significantly.
Twisteds are corrupted versions of the game’s cartoon Toons, transformed by a mysterious substance called Ichor. Each Twisted has different abilities and behaviors that force players to constantly adapt.
