Your objective is to collect all seven notebooks scattered throughout the school before escaping through the exit. Each notebook starts with simple math questions, but after a certain point you'll encounter impossible problems that cannot be solved correctly. Every wrong answer makes Baldi move faster, forcing you to think carefully about every decision while exploring the school. Along the way, you'll collect useful items, avoid various NPCs, and learn the school's layout to improve your chances of survival.

Learn How Every Character Behaves

Baldi isn't the only obstacle standing in your way. The school is filled with unique characters, each affecting your escape differently.

• Playtime forces you to jump rope before letting you continue.

Story Mode and Endless Mode

Baldi's Basics includes two main ways to play:

• Story Mode challenges you to collect all seven notebooks and escape the school.
• Endless Mode tests how many notebooks you can collect before Baldi catches you. In this mode, correctly solving notebook questions slows Baldi down temporarily, creating a unique balance between speed and accuracy.
